A graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy class of 1952. CO, USS Trippe (DE-1075, reclassified as FF-1075 in 1975) from 06 Jan 1972 - 11 Aug 1973. Upon retirement, Capt. Lorden was employed by Rohr Marine Inc. He currently resides in the Annapolis, MD area.
