Cecil McLeod. -- Retired Navy  Petty Officer BM1 
Cecil McLeod, 74, of 150 E. Hudson St., Fayetteville,
died Sunday in Highsmith-Rainey Memorial Hospital.
Mr. McLeod was in the Navy for 24 years. He worked
for Bass Air Conditioning for 24 years before retiring.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m.Thursday in
Faith Community Church by the Rev. Timothy Hall.
Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park.
Mr. McLeod is survived by his wife, Katherine R.
McLeod; two daughters, Cathy Bragg of Hope Mills
and Lora Byrd of Fayetteville; a son, James McLeod
of Fayetteville; a sister, Leona Goins of Sanford;
three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
