Richard Calvin Norcutt..... Mr. Richard Calvin Norcutt, age 69, of 2092 Heavner Road, Lincolnton, died Friday July 14, 2006 at Lincoln Medical Center. His funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday July 18 at Boger City United Methodist Church with Rev. Ed Maddox and Rev. Joe Ervin officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home. Mr. Norcutt was a native of Henry County, Va., born on May 7, 1937. He was the son of the late Clyde Love Norcutt. Mr. Norcutt worked for Duke Power for 26 years before retiring. He then started a new career in real estate working for Carolina Realty and working for H & R Block in the tax preparation field. Mr. Norcutt served his country for 20 years in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of Boger City United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife Peggy Tutterow; two sons, Chris Norcutt of Charlotte, Keith Norcutt of Lincolnton; mother, Etta Norcutt of Salisbury; one brother, Kenny Norcutt of Kannapolis; two grand- daughters, Hannah and Emily Norcutt.
