According to the Naval History and Heritage Command, there is no Command History Report on file for 1972.  It may have been lost or may never have been submitted since the ship was in overhaul at Norfolk Naval Shipyard from November 1972 to May 1973.  I was able to get by the National Archives to review the 1972 deck log and created a summary (attached) similar to the chronologies included in the Command History Reports.
