Here is the first half of the 1968-1969 Command History Report.  For some reason, this report covers only the period from the 4 May 1968 recommissioning through 1 July 1969.  Not sure why the calendar year format was not followed although, as noted previously, 1968 was the first year for the CHR requirement.  I was able to examine the deck logs for 1968 and 1969 and will send separate summaries in order to fill some of the gaps.  Please weave these together for a chronology for each year.
 
Note also that only a few of the 11 attachments to the original report were provided by the Naval History and Heritage Command.  Not sure whether these are on file or were considered superfluous for some reason.  At some point I hope to visit personally in Washington and determine whether the missing attachments are available.

To date I have not received any reports prior to 1968.  Not sure any exist since the reporting requirement started in 1968.
