The artist "Manolay" in Puerto Montt did a painting for each of the 
ships about to pass thru the Straits Of Magellan.... He signed his 
paintings simply as "Manolay" ... I was privileged to watch him 
work for a few hours... He 'paints' with a pallet knife to apply his 
oils, and then much of his work is done with his thumb!
